ક્યાં એવો વરસાદ, ક્યાં એવી ગરમી,

કોને યાદ નથી મમ્મી ના ખોળા ની નરમી.

ક્યાં મળે છોકરીઓ આટલી હસતી શરમાતી,

ક્યાં મળે કોઇ સુરવાલ સાડીમા દિલ ધડકાવતી,

ક્યાં મળે કોઇને દુકાન આટલી સસ્તી,

ક્યાં મળે દુકાનદારોની આવી ઘરાક ભક્તી,

ક્યાં મળે કોઇને જીવન મા આટલી મસ્તી,

સૌથી બેસ્ટ Rajkot ની વસ્તી..

ક્યાં એવી ઉત્તરાયણ, ક્યા એવી હોળી,

તહેવારો મા ભેગી થાય આખી ફ્રેન્ડસની ટોળી,

ક્યાં એવી નવરત્રિ, ક્યાં એવી દિવાળી,

ક્યાં એવા ડાન્ડીયા, ક્યાં એવા ધમાકા.

ક્યા મળે Nyari dem ની રંગીલી સાંજ,

ક્યા મળે Ring Road ની ચટાકેદાર રાત,

ક્યા મળે એ Cosmoplex/Ishvaria post ની મજા, ક્યા મળે એ મોડી રાતોની રજા,

ક્યા મળે Raju જેવી પાવ-ભાજી, ક્યા મળે Puja-Saagar જેવુ પાન, ક્યા મળે Khetala-baapa જેવી ચા ને કોફી.

Rajkot નો રંગ નીરાળો, rajkot નો ઢંગ નીરાળો,

મારી એ કલ્પના હતી કે વિસરી મને

કિંતુએ માત્ર ભ્રમ હતો થઇ ખાતરી મને

સુંદર ના કેમ હોય કે સુન્દર પ્રસંગ છે

કંકોતરી મા રુપ છે, શોભા છે, રંગ છે



કાગળનો એનો રંગ છે ખીલતા ગુલાબ સમ

જાણે ગુલાબી એના વદનના જવાબ સમ



રંગીનીઓ છે એમા ઘણી ફુલછાબ સમ

જાણે કે પ્રેમકાવ્યની કોઇ કિતાબ સમ



જાણુ છુ એના અક્શરો વરશોના સાથથી

શિરનામુ મારુ કિધું છે ખુદ એના હાથથી



ભુલી વફાની રીત, ના ભુલી જરી મને

લ્યો, એના લગ્નની મળી કંકોતરી મને



કન્કોત્રિ થી એટલુ પુરવાર થાય છે...

નિષ્ફલ બને જો પ્રેમ તો વેહવાર થાય છે...



જ્યારે ઉઘાડી રીતે ના કંઇ પ્યાર થાય છે...

ત્યારે પ્રસંગ જોઇ સદાચાર થાય છે...



દુઃખ છે હજાર તોય હજી એજ ટેક છે

કન્કોત્રિ નથી આ અમસ્તો વિવેક છે



આસિમ હવે વાત ગઈ રંગ પણ ગયો

તાપી તટે થતો હતો એ સંગ પણ ગયો



આંખો ની છેડછાડ ગઈ વ્યંગ પણ ગયો

મેળાપ ની એ રીત ગઈ ઢંગ પણ ગયો



હું દિલની લાગણી થી હજી પણ સતેજ છુ...

એ પારકી બની જશે હું એનો એજ છુ...
